S.O.S Cookies

Material

  • An empty jar of Bonne Maman jam 250 mL
  • Almond powder and flour
  • Hazelnuts and chocolate chips
  • Baking powder
  • Salt and brown sugar
  • Raffia and a sheet of kraft paper
  • Punch and scissors

Steps:

1. Filling

  • In the empty jam jar, arrange the ingredients neatly to create attractive layers:
    • 13g almond powder
    • 38g rye flour
    • 1/2 tsp. yeast
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 15g brown sugar
    • 25g chocolate chips
    • 25g hazelnuts

2. Creating the label

  • Prepare a small label on kraft paper. On the front, write “S.O.S Cookies”.
  • On the reverse, add some preparation information such as:
    • “For 5 cookies, pour all the ingredients into a bowl. Add one egg and 25g soft butter. Shape your cookies, and bake for 15 min at 180°C. Leave to cool for a few minutes. Enjoy!”
  • Close your S.O.S Cookies jar carefully with the lid.
  • Punch and hang the label around the jar using raffia.
