Ingredients
- 1 jar Bonne Maman hazelnut chocolate spread
- 120 g sugar
- 200 g flour
- 100 g milk
- 100 g butter
- 20 g cocoa powder
- 1 packet yeast
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 eggs
For the syrup:
- 500 g water
- 150 g sugar
- A touch of vanilla
Step 1 :
Peel the pears. Pour the water into a saucepan and add the sugar. Put the pears in the saucepan, add some vanilla powder (or fresh vanilla) and cook at a rolling boil for 30 to 45 minutes according to the pears.
Step 2 :
Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl: flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and cocoa powder.
Step 3 :
Add the eggs, melted butter and milk. Mix to obtain a smooth mixture. Add 3 big teaspoonfuls of the spread. Mix again.
Step 4 :
Place the pears in a buttered and floured cake tin. Cover with the cake mixture. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.
Take out of the oven and leave to cool, then cut into big slices and serve with some spread before enjoying!
