New York Rolls with Bonne Maman Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread

  • 1 roll of croissant pastry
  • 3 10 cm diameter stainless steel cutters

It’s time to treat yourself with our delicious New York Rolls with Bonne Maman Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread, a recipe that’s perfect for making together as a family!

Preparation

Step 1:
To start, cut the roll of croissant pastry into 3 pieces (without unrolling it).
Spread the inside of the stainless steel cutters.

Step 2:
Then, place a sheet of greaseproof paper on a baking sheet. Place the 3 rolls of pastry in it, spacing them out slightly. Add a stainless steel cutter around each one.
It is important that the three slices of croissant pastry are place flat in the cutters to obtain a puff pastry spiral.

Step 3:
Break the egg into a bowl, and mix it using a brush. Brush a little beaten egg onto each pastry roll and sprinkle on some sugar.

Step 4:
Place a heavy plate on the cutters, so that the pastry does not spill over. Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C, check the baking, the rolls must be golden. When you take them out of the oven, leave them to cool down, then remove the stainless steel cutters.

Step 5:
Place the roll upright and pipe the Bonne Maman Hazelnut and Cocoa spread over the top.
Crush a few hazelnuts and sprinkle them on the spread.
