Our Story
Bonne Maman was founded in 1971 in Biars-sur-Cère, a little village in the heart of the Lot, a beautiful region filled with fruit trees at the confluence point of the Cère and Dordogne rivers.
Our Jams
It was Jean Gervoson, the founder, who found the name: Bonne Maman, the affectionate name by which French families call their grandmothers.
This beautiful name perfectly matches the idea of a jam that's as good as if it had been made at home with love, like a mother would do for her children.
A high-quality jam in a traditional glass jar with a white label that simply indicates the brand and the flavour, and closed, of course, with that familiar red-and-white gingham lid, like our grandmothers used on their own jam jars. The recipe is simple: 50% fruits, 50% sugar, and the success was immediate.
See our selectionBonne Maman has never stopped trying to innovate and since 2017, has been offering new intense tasting jams that contain less sugar and more fruits.
The Compotes
At the end of 2018, Bonne Maman unveiled its newest innovation! Six brand-new recipes of compotes offered in glass jars.
Bonne Maman is writing a new chapter in its story by offering even more taste, more enjoyment and more thrills.
